Project Overview
Re-Animate (RAM) is a research project exploring the reconstruction of digital autobiographical models. The system combines language models, structured memory retrieval, and constrained dialogue protocols to create a research prototype of a digital persona based on textual data and curated memories. The goal is purely experimental: to investigate methods for digital memory simulation and style-preserving persona modeling.
Technical Approach
The prototype leverages a separation of style and memory:
- Style: Fine-tuned language model layers capturing linguistic patterns, tone, and phrasing.
- Memory: Curated events and facts stored in a retrieval system, injected at inference time.
- Constraints: Hard rules prevent generation of future knowledge, dependency language, or autonomous actions.
The system is intended for controlled research scenarios only, with all interactions bounded and supervised.
Research Status
This project is a work-in-progress prototype. No commercial deployment or public interaction is currently supported. The system is intended for research experimentation on memory reconstruction, digital persona style, and controlled dialogue frameworks.
